Cancellation, Rental Return, and Refund Policy

Because "Race for the Bloom" is a limited-use game rental experience rather than a physical retail purchase, our refund eligibility is strictly determined by whether the game materials have been shipped or opened. All game materials remain the exclusive property of Carrie’s Crafted Celebrations and must be returned following your gameplay.

🚫 Order Cancellation Before Shipment

  • Orders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the game has been physically shipped.

  • To request a cancellation before shipment, please contact us immediately at carriescraftedcelebrations@gmail.com.

📦 Cancellation After Shipment (Unopened Materials Only)

If you receive the game kit but choose not to open any materials and do not agree to our participation terms, you may request a partial refund under the following strict conditions:

  • Authorization Required: You must contact us at carriescraftedcelebrations@gmail.com to request return authorization before mailing anything back. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

  • Unopened Condition: No game materials or sealed components can be opened, accessed, or used, and the kit must be returned in substantially the same condition in which it was received.

  • Deductions & Fees: Any approved refund will be reduced by a mandatory $80 restocking and processing fee, which represents a fair estimation of our administrative and inspection overhead. Original shipping charges, return shipping expenses, and non-recoverable fulfillment costs will also be deducted from your final refund.

🧩 No Refunds After Gameplay Begins

  • Because the core value of "Race for the Bloom" depends entirely upon the secrecy of its puzzles, clues, and solutions, refunds are not available after any game materials have been opened, used, completed, altered, or otherwise accessed.

  • The Company reserves the right to make rare exceptions to this rule strictly on a case-by-case basis.

🔒 Security Deposit Inspections

  • The $50 refundable Security Deposit collected at checkout is handled separately from order refunds.

  • We will thoroughly inspect your returned game kit and process your Security Deposit refund within 14 business days following our receipt of the returned materials.

  • Reclaimed portions of the deposit are subject to deductions for missing or damaged non-consumable protected components (such as clue cards, treatment cards, answer envelopes, or decoders) as outlined in your signed Game Participation Agreement.

🛠️ Damages and Defective Issues

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.

  • Contact us right away at carriescraftedcelebrations@gmail.com if any component is defective, damaged, or missing from your initial shipment so we can evaluate the issue and safely mail out replacements to make it right.

🔄 Exchanges & International Policy

  • Exchanges: Due to the rental nature of our game kits, standard retail product exchanges are not supported.

  • European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: Notwithstanding the terms above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, participants retain a right to cancel or return an order within 14 days for any reason. The item must remain in its original packaging, entirely unworn, unused, and unaltered, with proof of purchase provided.
